Residence permit: Citizens of the European Union do not require a visa to study in Poland. Erasmus students from Turkey need a student visa, which can be issued by a Polish embassy or consulate in the their home country.
Health insurance: Students from the European Union member states should bring the health insurance issued in their home country. Otherwise, you will be asked to pay for any health service they may require during their study period in Poland. Polish classes: We offer free Polish language and culture classes to all foreign students who do not speak Polish. These classes are held either at university or outside, depending on the number of students interested. Details about the Polish classes will be given during the first meeting after your arrival.
Accommodation: As the university does not own their own dormitories, we facilitate either flat rental in the area close to the institution or can help secure places in different dormitories. Please note that this service is dependent on the number of students interested. In order to get help in finding accommodation in Gdańsk, please tick the appropriate box on the application form. The Erasmus International Office will contact the students and do their best to help them find suitable accommodation in good time before their arrival in Poland.
However, please notice that not every Erasmus students could be provided with dormitory place as these are dependent on our partners.
